After 4 redesigns and remakes from scratch, a year of hiatus and months of work it's finally here.

H0L-D4 (Holographic Design 4) is a holographic themed heads up display which is inspired by the legendary Depth HUD Inline.

F.A.Q
  • Are the watermarks in-game? No.
  • How to access customization? Q menu -> Options -> DyaMetR -> H0L-D4
  • I don't like how this looks / behaves. Look on the customization options if there's a way to adjust it to your liking.
  • The HUD has an impact in performance, what can I do? Tweak the Blur intensity slider on the Q menu to reduce blur quality and improve FPS.
  • Will this work when I join other servers?/Is it client-side? Unless the server either has the HUD installed, or sv_allowcslua set to 1, it simply WON'T LOAD.
  • I changed my HUD layout and the changes didn't save! Either enable configuration auto saving or make sure to press either one of this buttons when changing an element's configuration.
  • What weapons are shown in the images? steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1627033455
  • Can you make this for other Source games? GMod modding is vastly different from other Source games' modding. So I'm afraid I can't.
  • HUD doesn't work It does. Make sure it downloaded properly. And if it did, make sure ot's enabled. If it is, and it still won't show up, restart your game or the server.
  • Why I see missing textures everywhere? (a.k.a purple and black squares) It has downloaded incorrectly. Reinstall the addon and restart your game.
  • Fonts showcased on the pictures? Din Pro Alte DIN 1451 Mittelschrift Digital Dismay Digital 7 Agency FB Pricedown Futura Light Arboria-Light
  • I tried the fonts showcased on the pictures but they don't work. These fonts aren't bundled with the addon.
  • How can I force my settings to the whole server? You can't from inside the game, you need to have a .lua file inside a folder structure that is addons/holohud/add-ons/yourfile.lua using the HOLOHUD.GAMEMODE:AddConfigOverride(gamemode, element, config, force_default) method. You can find the full reference on the source code in the file holohud/core/gamemode.lua.
